What we attest

Every document the UAE asks for.

Whatever you need recognised here, from a university degree to a company power of attorney, we put it through the right chain of attestation so it is accepted first time.

Degrees, diplomas, transcripts and school certificates.

Personal

Marriage, birth and divorce certificates.

Commercial

Trade licenses, Memorandum of Association (MoA), invoices and certificates of origin.

The chain of stamps

Multiple authorities. One point of contact.

A foreign document is attested in stages, each authority confirming the last. The exact chain depends on the document and where it was issued, and we manage every stamp so you only hand over the originals once.

Finalised by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFAIC).

One stamp for member countries

The UAE is a member of the Hague Apostille Convention, an international treaty that simplifies how documents are recognised abroad. For a document issued in another member country, a single certificate called an apostille can replace the whole chain of embassy attestation. We confirm whether your document qualifies before you start.

  • One apostille, no embassy chain
  • For documents from member states
  • We confirm if yours qualifies

How it works

From originals to fully attested.

  1. 01. Review and collect

    1 to 2 days

We confirm which documents you need attested and the exact chain each one requires, then collect the originals.

  2. 02. Home-country attestation

    Varies by country

Notary, the foreign affairs ministry and the UAE embassy in the issuing country, or a single apostille where it applies.

  3. 03. UAE MoFAIC attestation

    2 to 5 days

The final attestation by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which makes the document valid for use across the UAE.

  4. 04. Translation and delivery

    Same week

Certified legal Arabic translation where it is required, then we deliver the attested documents back to you.

Good to know

Attestation, answered.

What is document attestation in the UAE?
Attestation is the official chain of stamps that confirms a document is genuine so it can be used legally in the UAE. For a foreign document it usually runs from a notary, to the issuing country's foreign affairs ministry, to the UAE embassy there, and finally to the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We manage every step for you.
Which documents need attestation in the UAE?
The most common are educational certificates such as degrees, personal certificates such as marriage and birth records, and commercial documents such as a trade license or power of attorney. Whether a document needs attesting depends on its purpose, for example sponsoring family, a work permit, or company matters. We tell you exactly what is required.
How long does document attestation take?
It depends on the document and its country of origin. The UAE MoFAIC stage usually takes a few working days, while the home-country steps vary widely. We give you a realistic timeline up front and keep the file moving so nothing stalls between authorities.
How much does document attestation cost in the UAE?
Cost depends on the document type, the country of origin and the number of stamps in the chain, since each authority charges its own fee, plus any certified translation and our service fee. We confirm a clear, itemised quote before any work begins, with government charges passed through at cost.
What is MoFA or MoFAIC attestation?
MoFAIC is the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, often shortened to MoFA. Its attestation is the final stamp that makes a foreign document valid for use across the UAE, applied after the home-country and embassy steps are complete. We handle the MoFAIC submission and collection for you.
What is the difference between attestation and apostille?
Attestation is a chain of separate stamps from several authorities. An apostille is a single certificate that replaces that chain between countries that are members of the Hague Apostille Convention. The UAE is a contracting state, so for documents from member countries an apostille may simplify the process. We confirm which route applies to your document.
Do you handle certified Arabic translation?
Yes. Many UAE authorities require a document in Arabic, produced by a legal translator and then attested. We arrange the certified translation as part of the service so your document is accepted without a second trip.
Can you attest documents from any country?
In nearly all cases, yes. The exact chain changes with the issuing country, and some require extra steps, but we handle documents from across the world, including via the relevant UAE embassy abroad. Tell us where your document was issued and we map the route.
