Why visit

What a tourist visa opens up for you.

A UAE tourist visa is your way into one of the most connected destinations on earth, for a holiday, a family reunion or a first look at setting up a business, and it can become a residency without you ever leaving the country.

The Dubai skyline, a top destination for visitors on a UAE tourist visa

One advisor picks the visa, applies for it, and handles any extension or status change.

  • Explore the UAE

From the Burj Khalifa and the desert to Abu Dhabi's mosques and Ras Al Khaimah's mountains, a tourist visa gives you the run of all seven emirates.

  • Visit family and friends

Bring parents, relatives or friends over for a stay. We can apply on their behalf from here, so they arrive with the e-visa already in hand.

  • Scout your business move

Meet partners, view Free Zones and offices, and open the groundwork for a company before you commit, all on a visit footing.

  • Switch to residency

Decide to stay? In most cases we change your status from visit to residency from inside the country, with no need to fly out and back.

Questions and answers

Frequently asked Questions

How much does a UAE tourist visa cost?

A 30-day single-entry tourist visa starts from around AED 350 per person all in, including the immigration fees, and a 60-day visa from about AED 700. Multiple-entry and the 5-year visa cost more because of the longer validity. We quote one fixed, all-in price up front, with no mark-up added at the airport, so the figure you approve is the figure you pay.

How long does it take to get a UAE tourist visa?

Most standard 30 and 60-day tourist visas are approved in two to four working days once we have your passport copy and photo. Express handling is available when your travel date is close. The 5-year multiple-entry visa can take a little longer because of the additional checks. We give you a realistic issue date before you pay.

Can I extend my UAE tourist visa?

Yes. A 30 or 60-day tourist visa can usually be extended twice, for 30 days each time, from inside the country, so there is no need for a border run. We file the extension before your current visa expires, which avoids overstay fines. If you decide to stay longer term, we can instead change your status to a residency visa.

What is the difference between a tourist visa and a visit visa?

In the UAE the two terms are used interchangeably for the short-stay entry permits that let you come for tourism, family or business exploration. The practical choice is not the label but the duration and entry type: 30 or 60 days, single or multiple entry, or the 5-year multiple-entry visa. We match you to the option that fits your trip.

Can I convert my tourist visa to a residency visa?

In most cases, yes. If you are in the UAE on a tourist or visit visa, we can change your status to residency in process without you leaving the country, whether the residency comes through a company, property, employment or family sponsorship. A small number of nationalities still need an out-of-country entry permit, and we confirm which applies before any fee is charged.

Do I need a sponsor for a UAE tourist visa?

Not for the standard tourist visas or the 5-year multiple-entry visa, which we apply for as a licensed agent on your behalf. Some visit visas are sponsored by a relative, a UAE company or a hotel, and we can arrange the visa under whichever route fits your needs Either way you deal with one advisor from start to finish.

What documents do I need for a UAE tourist visa?

For most applicants a clear colour copy of your passport, valid for at least six months, and a recent passport-style photo are enough. Some nationalities need a confirmed return ticket, hotel booking or bank statement. We send you an exact checklist for your nationality up front and review everything before it is submitted, so nothing bounces back.

Can I work in the UAE on a tourist visa?

No. A tourist or visit visa is for tourism, family visits and business exploration only, not for taking up employment. To work legally you need a residency and work permit, which an employer or your own company sponsors. If your visit is leading toward a job or a business, we can move you onto the right residency route from here.
